Our Team

David Colodny, Esq.

Founder and Project Director

David Colodny brings more than thirty years of legal experience to the Creditor Justice Project, including almost twenty-five years representing low-wage workers in wage theft cases at Catholic Migration Services, the Urban Justice Center’s Community Development Project (now TakeRoot Justice) and the D.C. Employment Justice Center. The challenges experienced in these roles of turning court judgments into actual dollars – and the strategies learned to overcome those challenges – informed the founding of the Creditor Justice Project.

David is a graduate of Duke University (B.A.) and the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.). David periodically leads Continuing Legal Education programs and was previously an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Law at the New York University School of Law.
